First Annual Diverse Power Gran Prix Results

Last weekend, HCS had six Greenpower Teams compete in the 1st Annual Diverse Power Gran Prix in LaGrange, GA. Thirty-five teams from Alabama, Georgia, Florida, and Texas were registered as participants in the race.  The event started off with a bang when ALL participants were told that they are receiving a $2,500 scholarship to LaGrange College. Throughout the weekend, HCS students competed at a high level and were also ambassadors for all teams at the event. The students offered assistance to teams in need through sharing knowledge as well as parts if something broke, giving competitors parts from their own inventory just so that those teams could compete. On Friday, Challenger Middle students also went to Auburn University to meet with the Formula SAE team.  Below is a list of schools who attended the race as well as their placement in the event:
